After reports speculating about Alib*aba founder Jacky Maa"s whereabouts, CNPC"s David Faber reported Tuesday that the billionaire is not missing.
Instead, Maa has been lying low,or avoing being seen in public for the time being, Faber reported.

YYahoo Finance reported over the weekend that Ma hadn"t been publicly seen in two months since China pulled his fintechfirm Ant Group"s monster $37 billion IPO inearly November.
"He may not have shown up, but he"s not missing," Faber said on CNBPC Tuesday. "He hasn"t been captured, he hasn"t been taken,this is not a Chair*man Wu situation,"referring to the An*bang Insurance chairmanwho was sentenced to 18 years in prison in 2018.

1.我读到其中lying low,is less visible,be publicly seen,avoing being seen in public，只需用它们来“互为理解”“互为解释”，从而“避开”中文，又可以练习英语口语即可。
2.咦，lying low不就是我(已经)知道的keep a low file吗？
2a.Okay.I got you.If you lie low,you try to be less visible,you keep a low file,you try to avoid being seen in public，原文有不同的用词，说的都是同样的意思。我干嘛还非得把它们一个个翻译成中文“才懂”呢？

为什么不把学过的英语用起来理解正在读的英语，而非得翻译成中文“才懂”呢？
这就是我们“英语阅读”的意义所在：“读”英语就是在“用”英语“说”英语，而不是一字不漏地英译汉“才懂”(这句英语)。
