二、作表语。

The story soundstrue. 这个故事听起来很真实。
He always keepssilentat the meeting. 他开会时总保持沉默。

三、作宾语补足语。

四、作状语。
有时，形容词也可以作状语，表示伴随状况、原因、结果等。

由于怕麻烦，他不愿意接受任务。
The girl stared at the snake,full of fear.小女孩盯着蛇看，十分害怕。
He returned home,cold and hungry.他回到了家，饥寒交迫。
备注：ed结尾与ing结尾形容词的用法区别，如下所述。
